LOEA Boutique Hotel was created from a complete redesign, rebrand and refurbishment of a run-down 1980s motel into a boutique hotel offering elegantly appointed bedrooms decorated in calming hues with subtle coastal touches, a magnesium pool, tranquil garden, parking, free bike hire and a vintage food and drink truck.
The Challenge
A tired 1980s roadside motel was losing guests to newer properties, suffering from low occupancy and a dated identity that no longer resonated with modern travellers.
Our Approach
Accommodation Brokers led a complete transformation — new brand identity, interior redesign, and full refurbishment of all guest rooms, pool area and grounds. Every touchpoint was reimagined, from signage to soft furnishings, to position Loea as a premium coastal boutique experience.
The Outcome
Loea launched to exceptional market reception, attracting national press coverage from The New York Times Style Magazine and The Sydney Morning Herald. The asset was sold 18 months post-renovation for more than three times the pre-renovation value.
